Training & Development
We support local people, particularly those who are socially excluded or have mental health or other special needs, to improve their opportunities of future employment. We do this by involving them in the running of our enterprises and other areas of the organization through our integrated training and development programme. Involving our trainees and volunteers in the day to day activities of the operation helps them improve their confidence and general wellbeing. It also helps them gain relevant new skills and training to gain nationally accredited qualifications to help them compete in the jobs market.
Supported Volunteer Training Programme provides:
- Opportunities for local people who have been excluded from the job market to gain new skills and build confidence to help them re-enter the job market
